| Como vimos nas aulas, os verbos no inglês estão divididos entre regulares e irregulares. Para os verbos regulares acrescentamos o final -ed, enquanto que para os irregulares não há uma regra definida, a melhor forma de memorizá-los é usando-os sempre. | ||
| a) Add ed .to the base form to make the past tense of most regular verbs: | ||

| b) When the base form ends in a consonant + y , change the y to i and add ed : | ||
