Yellowstone is a big national park. It is in the USA, in the state of Wyoming.
The park opened in 1872. It is the first national park in the world!
The park is very big. It has about 9,000 square kilometers. That is about 3,500 square miles.
Yellowstone has geysers. A geyser is a hole in the ground. Hot water comes out of the hole. The water is very hot! It looks like the Earth is breathing.
The most famous geyser is Old Faithful. It shoots water into the air. The water goes up about 50 meters high. That is about 165 feet high!
It does this every 90 minutes. Every day. Every night. Always!
Yellowstone has many animals. There are bears. 🐻 There are wolves. 🐺 There are bison. 🦬

The animals are free. They live in the park. You can see them. But do not touch them! Do not go near them! They are wild animals.
The park is very beautiful. There are lakes, rivers, and mountains. The colors are amazing — blue, green, orange, and yellow! Nature is the artist there.
